Ukraine in 30 seconds

Since its inception in 2014, the conflict in Ukraine has resulted in countless casualties and extensive damage to infrastructure. The conflict began when Russia annexed Crimea from Ukraine, which was met with widespread international condemnation. Russia then backed separatist forces in eastern Ukraine, sparking a war that has continued to this day.

The conflict has been marked by frequent ceasefires and violations of those ceasefires. The human cost of the conflict has been devastating, with thousands of civilians killed or injured and millions displaced. The ongoing conflict has also had a significant impact on Ukraine's economy, with many businesses closing and investment fleeing the country.
